Woodlands Bank is headquartered in Bluffton, South Carolina. Its predecessor bank, Gulf Federal, was founded in Mobile, Alabama in 1987. Early in 2007, Gulf Federal changed its name to Woodlands Bank and relocated its corporate headquarters to Bluffton.
